1. Information We Collect

Because our platform is designed for anonymous connections, we collect the absolute minimum data required to make the service work:

• Device Identifiers: We generate a random, anonymous ID stored in your browser's local storage to reconnect you to your active 24-hour room.
• Ephemeral Content: Texts and photos sent during an active session.
• Payment Information: If you purchase Premium, your payment is processed securely by our third-party payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not see or store your credit card details.

2. Data Retention & Deletion (The 24-Hour Rule)

This is the most important part of our policy: We do not keep archives.

Once a 24-hour timer reaches zero, or if either user manually ends the connection, our automated systems permanently delete the chat room, all text messages, and all uploaded photos from our active database and storage servers. This process is irreversible.

3. Automated Content Scanning (Safety)

To keep the community safe from illegal or highly explicit material, uploaded photos are scanned by an automated AI model before being sent. This scan happens strictly to flag explicit content and protect users. The AI does not store, share, or learn from your photos.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party infrastructure to run the platform securely:

• Hosting & Databases: Vercel and Supabase (data is encrypted at rest).
• Analytics: Minimal, privacy-friendly analytics to count active users and page views, without tracking individual identities.

5. Your Rights

Because you are anonymous, we cannot link data to a real-world identity (like an email or name). If you wish to delete your data immediately, you simply need to click the "End Connection" button in your active chat. This instantly triggers the deletion of your room's data from our servers.
